The Buckingham range has all the hallmarks of classic Lloyd Loom furniture - the simple, uncluttered lines, the smooth woven fabric, the graceful elegance. In fact, everything you need to add some old fashioned chic styling to your living room or conservatory. This fully upholstered version of the Buckingham Armchair has a skirt, which goes almost to the floor and creates a grand look.

Dating back to 1917, Lloyd Loom is the revolutionary patented method for manufacturing wicker like material originally intended for use on baby carriages! Kraft paper is twisted and wrapped around wire, then this 'thread' is woven into the Lloyd Loom fabric. This man made material is smooth, strong and consistent, unlike natural cane and rattan. Highly skilled craftspeople upholster the weave onto steam bent beech frames. Traditional paper braiding is then applied to finish the weave before it is dipped into glue and dried for added strength.

This chair has a Dark Oak stained finish. This is a semi-transparent finish that allows you to see the weave and looks great alongside wooden furniture. Other stain colours are also available. Please contact Customer Services for further details.
