The base has a platform top for a firmer feel and there is also a wide range of storage options to choose from, including smaller sized drawers in the continental option which eliminate the need to move bedside furniture out of the way every time you want to open the drawer. Option pictured is the 3 drawer continental set. The divan base comes on castors for convenience.
