Hi Paul,The Textilene side panels do help reduce wind and make the space more comfortable, but because they’re made from breathable mesh, they won’t fully block strong gusts or create a completely enclosed shelter.Thanks!

Hi, This pergola has a louvred roof that can be closed to provide protection from rain from above. However, it is not fully waterproof as a structure. In heavy or wind-driven rain, water may still enter from the sides, and the Textilene side panels are mesh, so they are not waterproof. It is designed for shade and partial weather protection, not as a fully sealed, waterproof outdoor enclosure.

Hi Damon,You can purchase extra side screens for the 3?×?3?m LED pergola from Furniture123 to have a third side. Each additional side panel is sold separately, with the anthracite fitted side screen available under SKU?PERG004, allowing you to expand coverage beyond the two panels included with the pergola.Thanks!
