The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Question from Pad: Asked on 11/10/2025 Where is the reset button I’m struggling to connect my phone to control the fire.
Hi Pad, please locate the power switch on the right side of the fireplace. Switch it to the "O" (off) position, wait for about 10 seconds, then switch it back to the "I" (on) position. This can help reset the internal Wi-Fi module. Ensure the network you are connecting to is 2.4 GHz (5 GHz WiFi networks are not supported) and that the item has a strong Wi-Fi signal. Thank you.

Hi Kristina, this product has the following dimensions: 152.4W x 26.19D x 50.01H cm. For installation, you will need a wall opening (cutout) of: 153.9W x 27.71D x 51.51H cm. This allows for a small air gap around the unit, ensuring proper ventilation and heat dissipation. Thank you.

Hi, For the AmberGlo AGL068W 60-inch WiFi Enabled Inset Electric Media Wall Fireplace:
Recommended clearance: Maintain at least 12 inches (30 cm) between the top of the fireplace and your soundbar or TV to prevent heat damage.
Materials: Plasterboard or MDF are both suitable to use as a separating panel between the fireplace and your media devices, as long as they are properly installed and ventilated.
For extra safety, using fire-rated plasterboard is a good option.
