There is also some damage to the paintwork where there are heavy scratches which will be noticeable once constructed. The damage will not affect the stability of the unit. How big am I?
The fire engine bed design has been inspired from an original fire engine. With a shapely design with a variety of different details the design will most definitely take centre stage in your child’s bedroom. With a fire engine cabin at 101cm tall your child can use their imagination to the fullest. The fire engine bed fits a standard UK single mattress (90x190cm/3ft) however this is not included and will need to be purchased separately. See our mattress recommendations above!
How do I look?
Complete with vibrant painted details, cut out wheels, big playful eyes and an enclosed cabin the fire engine bed has fun features just waiting to inspire your little ones. Finished in classic fire engine red this bed is a real show stopper. Bed time has never been so exciting.
What am I made of?
Crafted from strong MDF the fire engine bed is sturdy and reliable. Painted in bold, vivid colours with a durable, high quality lacquer finish. Complete with a flat slatted bed base to give your little budding fire man or woman great support.
Treat me right
Thanks to the high quality lacquer finish it is easy to maintain that fresh, pristine look. Simply wipe over with a dry cloth to keep a dust free finish and for tougher marks try a warm damp cloth, try to avoid chemical cleaners.
How easy am I to put together?
The fire engine bed frame will be delivered in four boxes and self-assembly will be required. Boasting of an easy self-assembly design it shouldn’t be too long before your little ones are enjoying their own little fire engine. As this is a larger item we would recommend two people for a safer and quicker assembly.
