How the assembly service works
- First, place an order for your new garden building and select the ‘Assembly Service’ on the same page or add it as an extra in your basket.
- Once your order is confirmed, the trained installer will contact you the verify garden access, boundaries and road access in the form of imagery; this is so that they can get everything prepared ahead of your delivery day. (see ‘Further details and assembly requirements’ below).
- The installers then arrange a date that’s suitable for you to deliver and install your garden building.
- On the delivery day, your product will be delivered and unloaded at the front of your property by the installers.
- The installers will then proceed with assembling as per instructions and specifications; however, they will happily re-arrange doors and windows (if applicable) on request.
Please note: Before placing your order, outside access to your garden is essential for this service.
Installation Overview
Base details & full installation
- Holes are drilled with an earth auger approximately 600mm deep or until ‘solid’ ground is reached.
- Crushed stone is then placed at the bottom of these holes before concrete is poured and set at the correct and level height ready to receive the adjustable steel feet.
- Installation of your garden building – these details can be found on the AI (in the web link), it takes up to 5 days to complete.
Further details and assembly requirements
We would need photos from the you (customer) that show the following-
- Access to site (from drop off of delivery to where the garden room is to be situated).
- Ground and boundaries as to where the garden room will sit.
- Road access (as we will mostly be delivering on a 18T wagon, so the more information we have the better it will be for us, you (customer) and your neighbours).
The total cost includes groundworks, which are foundation piles for the steel feet to sit on, (so we would require the ground to be level), the foundation piles, and the installation of the pod ONLY.
IMPORTANT: Please note the following:
- No internal work is included in the cost.
- If other groundworks are required then a potential survey would need to be carried out and the total cost is then subject to change.
- The manufacture and delivery of your garden room is approximately 4 weeks, however if this installation option is chosen the lead time may be extended to suit the availability of the installers.
