Question from Rhianne: Asked on 13/06/2023 What is the window kit / how does it work? we have shutters.

Answer from ArleneQuiros: Answered on 13/06/2023

Hi Rhianne,

The provided kit is designed to be installed with sliding or sash windows but is not ideal for other window types. However, the provided fishtail adapter can be used with most windows or doors. During cooling, the fishtail reducer ensures that the opening is as small as possible. For even better cooling we provide an optional universal window seal at checkout. If you require further assistance please let us know.

Thank you,

Arlene

Question from Azy: Asked on 14/04/2023 Does it make same job if we don’t put pipe out of window, I have no possibility to put pipe out ?

Answer from ChloeBell: Answered on 14/04/2023

Good Morning,

The ideal solution is to vent them through a wall or window.

Due to the warm air being extracted out of the room to create a cooler environment, this item would require the hose to be attached into a window kit or through the wall for it to work at the full potential.

I hope this helps

Thank you, Kind regards

Question from Andy: Asked on 19/07/2021 What cools the air

Answer from Marek: Answered on 19/07/2021

Hi Andy! So this unit has build-in fans that will cool down small rooms. Along with fans, this unit has enough power to cool rooms up to 18 sqm. I hope it helps, thanks!

Answer from MichaelBridge: Answered on 19/07/2021

Hi Andy

What cools the air is a special refrigerant which is pumped round a cooling cicuit. It is put under pressure, then the pressure is released as it enters the dehumidifer, this causes it to lose energy and cool down. The coil around it becomes very cold and a fan blows air across it which is what cools the room. The coolant is then compressed again by the pump and this generates heat which is blown out of the back of the unit, out of a window normally.

Hope that is useful.

Best regards,

Michael

Question from Adrian: Asked on 19/07/2021 Hi, I have an extractor fan in the room where I want the air conditioning unit to go, could I direct the hose below the extractor fan so as to vent out the hot heat instead of a window?

Answer from MichaelBridge: Answered on 19/07/2021

Hi Adrian

You could try it but I am not sure all the heat would be removed by the extractor fan and you might end up with a buildup of heat in the room which you are trying to cool.

Regards,

Michael
