Based on the most popular of the deep-buttoned designs, with traditional straight scrolled arms and low back, the Clarendon sofa bed is a true Chesterfield classic with a modern twist. This gorgeous sofa bed is a great place to relax, both day and night. During the day the sofa has deep seat cushions and padded arms. The studded details accentuate the tall arms and with mahogany coloured wooden feet a truly sumptuous feel is created. Come night time, the cushions are removed and the bed base pulls out in a three fold action. A polypropylene base supports a comfortable 12cm foam mattress to create a great double sleeping area.
The finishing touch which makes the Clarendon range look fabulous is the antique finish of the leather upholstery, which is available in a range of stylish colours. The leather starts as the darker colour and is then hand rubbed to reveal the underlying lighter colour (click on one of the leather samples above to see this in detail). The rubbing is done strategically over the Chesterfield and the leather is then sealed to protect the appearance.
