Product Description:

The Consort Collection from Julian Bowen is both homely and rustic, with a warm honey finish and simple construction, the Consort range is perfect for adding that cosy country cottage feel to any home, whether you reside in a quiet town or village or a bustling city or suburb!

The Consort Dining Table has a handy flap top and a "half moon" design which has been cleverly devised to maximise space within the dining room. To use the table in the "half moon" position, simply fold one half of the table back and the extra table leg will slot back into the table frame allowing the table to be stored up against the wall. The extra half simply folds back down to hang against the wall - ideal for those times when extra living space is needed.

Question from M: Asked on 16/12/2018 Hi - would it go completely flat against the wall if one side is down? Not sure if the support and leg would stick out like in the photo or is that just to show how it works? Thanks

Answer from Rachel: Answered on 17/12/2018
Hi, when the table top is folded over, the support leg will slot back into the table frame using a wooden tongue and groove mechanism, therefore it will fit flat against the wall. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Rachel
