Question from Gas canister: Asked on 07/04/2023 I note you say a 5kg canister is recommended. Can I use a gas canaster greater than 5kg, is there any issues in doing so

Question from Phil: Asked on 22/01/2023 What gas is best with this bbq
Hi Phil,
Thanks for checking out our Boss Grills.
For this one, I'd recommend a 5kg propane gas canister, but it is compatible with larger propane canisters. If you're going to be using it a lot you could go for a 13kg propane tank.
Hope this helps,
Sam

Question from Barrie: Asked on 17/07/2022 Ca I use butane blue bottle
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch
We recommend propane for our BBQs, but butane will work too. Please note that this BBQ comes with a propane regulator, so you'll have to purchase a butane one from elsewhere; we don't currently stock these
Hope this helps,
Sam
Question from Kevin Welch: Asked on 12/07/2022 Hi can this be plumbed into LPG gas on my motorhome
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for getting in touch
With the correct regulator, this should be fine (We recommend propane gas)
This BBQ is supplied with a 27mm clip-on propane regulator (37mbar) suitable for use with the following types of gas: Calor Patio Gas, Flogas Leisure Gas, and BP Gaslight.
Hope this helps,
Sam
Question from Elizabeth Law: Asked on 08/07/2022 Can the cooking grid be put in the dishwasher?
Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for getting in touch
I wouldn't recommend washing in the dishwasher - The best way to clean this after use is to wash it down while the grate is still warm.
Hope this helps,
Sam
Question from Jane felstead: Asked on 04/07/2022 Do you do flat bed grills for this particular bbq ie solid grill plate
Hi Jane
Thanks for getting in touch
We don't currently offer an accessory of this type for this BBQ

Question from Alan: Asked on 12/07/2021 Thinking of using this as our only camping cooking device. Are the burners arranged so that a kettle could be used? For example what are the dimensions of the burners?
Hello Alan! I believe you shouldn't have an issue with using a kettle on this BBQ, in fact, I saw people using kettles on charcoal BBQs. The size of the cooking area is W70 x D34.5cm, so it should be enough for a kettle and food for breakfast! I hope it helps and I hope you will enjoy your time away! Thanks!
Question from Charlie trabaud: Asked on 09/07/2021 Can the grill be taken off the trolley ? I would like to just have the bbq on a surface and leave the stand. Thanks!
Hi Charlie! Unfortunately, you can't separate the grill from the trolley. However, what you can do is to fold it down as it has a foldable wheeled stand. I hope it helps! Thanks.
