Question from Owen: Asked on 13/05/2026 Noise level in decibels
Hi, The electriQ CMAC12M 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner will provide effective cooling for a single enclosed room, typically up to medium-sized spaces, when properly vented to the outside. It is designed for practical spot cooling rather than whole-home use. Please note it operates at around 65 dB, so it is comparable to a loud conversation in terms of noise level.
Thank you.
Question from Mark Waugh: Asked on 02/03/2023 good afternoon, can you please tell me if this unit needs to be vented
Good Afternoon
Yes, they would need venting
