Question from Michael Jacques: Asked on 27/07/2022 How to use in conjunction with car travel. I appreciate the box needs to be plugged in but when parked for a long period do you
1. Leave the box plugged in switch on and
running off the car battery or
2. Disconnect the cable but leave the cool box switched on or
3. Leave connected but switch the cool box off but keep the lid shut and switch back on when the journey is recomenced .
I asked these questions direct of support@electriq some four days ago but have had no response as of yet.
Hi
The box is insulated, so should be able to be left unpowered for some period of time like any other Cool Box
Therefore its up to you if you want to run the cooler when its disconnected from the car as it depends how long it is left for
Its not advised to be left plugged in as it may drain your car battery
Hope this helps
