Hi, The Payton Teal Velvet 4-Seater Chaise Corner Sofa (SOF152) features a seat height of 46cm, which is approximately 3cm to 6cm higher than many standard or low-profile sofas that typically sit between 40cm and 43cm. This extra height, combined with a supportive foam and fiber filling, helps prevent the user from sinking too deeply into the cushions, making it significantly easier to transition from a sitting to a standing position. For comparison, this height is very similar to a standard dining chair (45cm–50cm), providing a more accessible and upright seating experience that reduces strain on the knees and hips when getting out of the sofa.
