Hi, Regarding the Ida Oak Dressing Table (IDA004), the mirror is a fixed component and cannot be folded down. According to the assembly manual, the mirror (part 06) is secured to the mirror base (part 07) using permanent wooden dowels and screws, and the entire mirror assembly is then bolted to the main table unit. Because the unit is attached with standard fixed bolts (part P) and screws (part Q) rather than a hinge, it remains in a static, upright position once it is fully constructed.

Hi Georgina,Assembling the Ida Oak Dressing Table (IDA004) is manageable for beginners but requires patience. Expect 1–2 hours to attach the frame, legs, mirror, and drawer using basic tools. Following the instructions carefully and having a helper can make the process easier and safer.Thanks!
