How the assembly service works
1. First, place an order for your new outdoor building and select the ‘Assembly Service’ on the same page or add it as an extra in your basket.
2. Once your order is confirmed, our installers will contact you and ask about outside access in the form of imagery and base requirements. This is so that everything can be prepared ahead of your delivery day.
3. A date is then arranged suitable for you to deliver and install your outdoor building.
4. On the delivery day, your product will be delivered and unloaded at the front of your property.
5. The installers will then proceed with assembly, following the instructions and specifications; however, they will happily re-arrange doors and windows upon request (if applicable).
6. Once built, all packaging is removed, leaving you ready to enjoy your new outdoor building.
Please note: Before placing your order, outside access to your garden is essential for this service.
Installation Overview
Access requirements
We would need photos from the you (customer) that show the following-
• Access to site (from delivery drop off to where the outdoor building will be assembled.)
• Ground and boundaries as to where the outdoor building will sit.
• Road access - as we will most likely be delivering using an 18T wagon, the more information we have, the better it will be for us, yourself (customer) and your neighbours.
Base Requirements
For this product to be assembled successfully, you need to ensure you have a suitable base to build on.
The type of base we recommend are-
a) Concrete 75mm laid on top of 75mm hard-core
b) Slabs laid on 50mm of sharp sand
Location of your outdoor building
When deciding on the location for your product and the base it is going to be constructed, please ensure the following-
1. That there is access to all sides for maintenance work and annual treatment.
2. The base is level and is built on firm ground to prevent distortion.
3. The base is slightly smaller than the external measurement of your product, i.e., the cladding should overlap the base, creating a run for water.
4. The floor should be at least 25mm above the surrounding ground level to avoid flooding.
IMPORTANT: Please note the following:
• No internal work is included in the cost.
• The manufacture and delivery of your outdoor building is approximately 4 weeks. If this installation option is selected, lead-time may be extended to suit the availability of the installers.
