Question from Rin: Asked on 06/03/2026 Does the bed frame have a central support bar?
Hi, The Layla Grey Velvet Single Guest Bed does not have a central support bar running down the middle from the headboard to the footboard. Instead, the frame is engineered with two middle bars (Part 05) that bolt directly to the inside of the side rails to create a sturdy ledge for the 13 curved slats (Part 07) to sit upon. This specific design is essential because it leaves the space beneath the main bed entirely open and unobstructed, allowing the trundle unit (Parts 08, 09, 10) to slide in and out smoothly.

Hi, The Layla Single Guest Bed with Trundle (SKU: LAY001A) features a trundle that sits on castor wheels and does not have legs to elevate it to the same height as the main bed. Thanks!
