Thanks for your query, if this is going on a fully solid concrete floor then yes you would need to have the tray raised which would be one of our easy plumb trays that we do which would be code:
5453 - this is the same tray as the one you picked but this comes complete with legset and the acrylic cap to go round the edge of the tray.

The inside depth varies on the 900x900 Slimline Quadrant Shower Tray as it decreases from the front central curviture. The maximum depth at this point is approximately 20mm the minimum depth is approximately 10mm.
