Question from Trevor: Asked on 12/12/2025 Hiya. The internal oak cottage doors, how much can u trim off the sides?
Hi, The Suffolk Essential Unfinished Oak Internal Door (1981 x 457 x 35?mm) can be trimmed safely up to 15?mm from each side and up to 15?mm from the top and bottom. Trimming beyond these limits is not recommended, as it may affect the door’s structural integrity, interfere with hinges or locks.
Thank you.
