Hi, the top drawer block is part of the assembly kit, and you can leave it off if you prefer. However, there will be holes showing. Thank you.

The section with the draws on top what is the dimension from draws on top of the desk to the front of the desk. Need to see if my laptop will fit.
Also can the top draw section not have to be put on ?
