Both beds have wooden sprung slatted bases for comfortable mattress support plus each bed (with a mattress) can take a maximum of 150Kg. Mattresses aren't included so you have the freedom to select two of your choice, both beds fit a standard UK single mattress and not only that, it's supported by sturdy legs for that extra durability.
